I used a K&Co paper pack for this one and Gold card stock from PTI.  The Card Stock from Paper Trey Inc is the best!!

This one I used Taken with Teal and Real Red and a card stock sticker by K&Co

~Inspiration: Spring Fever April 10, 2011

Filed under: Uncategorized — arcticstampdiva @ 2:00 am

Even though it’s only 30 degrees outside and there is still much snow and ice on the ground I can’t help but feel a little bit of spring fever when the sun beats down in my kitchen and living room.  So, I decided to pull out my Lime Rickey paper and see what happy spring vibes would come.  Here are a few things that I came up with.                          ~Enjoy                     ArcticStampDiva

Let’s just say….I felt just Ducky!

This Cute little guy just had to be used!

Who doesn’t love to laugh?

My obsession with BasicGrey paper means that I cannot live without a single one of the collections!!  When I looked at the Curio collection I thought…..hmmm will I use this, it’s not really my style but, took a chance with it.  while looking through it I came across a fantastic piece that looked like old black lace!  I immediately thought “Goth” and grabbed my 3 goth girls from Stampotique.  It took me about two days to put this card together but I am pleased with the results, even more so I was surprised to find that I had a few more tricks up my sleeve with this collection.   Enjoy………..   ~ArcticStampDiva

I found some vintage looking butterflies I had lying around and used the flower frame rub on as my focal point

I kept this simple with a card stock flower sticker and letters….No stamping but I like it just the same….

I’ve had these two old ladies (River City rubber stamps) and this sentiment for 100 years, okay for at least 7 years and I love it!!  But like the Paper I’ve struggled with how to use them…..therefore this combo seemed like a marriage made in heaven!

And last, this is my version of the collage/ephemera look…….just something quick and simple.

Hey there,
Just a few cards to add. More thank you cards, this time using Urban Prairie by Basic Gray…..I’ve gotta use up all of my older stuff to make room for the new…I’ve got a big order of new Basic Grey goodies that should be on it’s way to me any day now………I just love new stuff!!

~Heartfelt Thanks~

The base of the card is Carribean Blue the DP is all Urban Prairie by Basic Gray, the butterfly and flowers are rub ons by Stampin up and the sentiments are random words I’ve got hanging around and of course I stickled the entire card…..gotta love stickle glitter glue……

~Urban Prairie Friendship~

~Urban Prairie Gratitude II~

~Urban Prairie Gratitude~

All have the same layout, I just used the DP a little differently.  I sometime struggle with mixing patterns, so when I get in a groove I just try to go with it.

Thanks for stopping by……..

Hey there,

Just a quick post today while I help my son with his homework.  If I don’t stay on him we will be working on spelling words until bedtime…. These cards were made for Zachary’s Grandmothers for the birthday gifts they gave him this year. They are always very generous so I like to make something special for them.

Purple Heartfelt Thanks

The base is dark purple Bazzil paper coordinating with the Basic Grey Wisteria Collection and Pale Plum by Stampin’ Up, DP is BG – Wisteria and the White card stock is by Paper Trey Ink (it’s the best) The Flower is from the Herb Expressions Set, it’s the Thyme flower without the word by it, I masked it.  The Heartfelt and Thanks are from the Heartfelt thanks set that I have not used in years……it’s just worked with this card….so I’m glad that I’ve kept it around.  I colored the flowers with a combo of Stampin Up Markers and my Copics.  I used my nestabilities to do the layering and the ribbon is by PTI.

I made a few extra with the last piece of DP, I just made this one a regular 4X5 card.

~Smaller Heartfelt Purple~

Thanks for stopping by.

Hey there,
I’m back for a quick update. My super extended weekend didn’t quite work out like I’d hoped for, so I’m off to work tomorrow! No worries though, it’s only two days until the weekend again…….I’ve just got a few thank you cards that I wanted to share, I find that you really can never have too many extra thank you cards on hand, so if I get in a groove I always try to try to throw a Thank you card in the mix.  These were made using Basic Grey Wisteria.

~Wisteria Thanks~ (2)

~Wisteria - Great Love~

I used River Rock as the base the rest of the patterned paper, stickers and chip board is Basic Grey Wisteria.  The sentient is a rub on by Stampin Up.

Thanks for Stopping by.
